Seasons is a £90 million project delivering change in Thurnscoe, to the east of Barnsley

Over the next 15 -18 years this investment will transform the area, radically improving the housing offer, creating new opportunities and supporting community development.

The 875 modern, energy efficient homes created will be some of the most environmentally friendly properties in South Yorkshire

New investment is helping to increase job opportunities in the area.  For example, the Asos clothing company is relocating it’s national distribution centre to the nearby Park Springs site – creating up to 4,000 jobs in the next seven years.

High end automotive supplier Kostal – which employs 400 - has also announced plans to double turnover, whilst food store Aldi has been granted planning permission to construct a regional supply depot.
